Randall G. Hess, D.O., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Hess is a graduate of Abilene Christian University in Texas. He obtained his Doctor of Osteopathy at the Kirksville College of osteopathic medicine. He was trained in internal medicine at the Detroit Osteopathic Hospital and at the Wilford Hall United States Air Force Medical Center. His fellowship in cardiology was at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He practiced in Gadsden for three years and then joined our group in 1980. He was initially at Carraway Methodist Medical center and has since moved his practice to UAB Medical West. Dr. Hess is board certified in cardiology and is expert in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, pacemaker implants and diagnostic angiography.
