Scott W. Sims, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Sims is a graduate of the University of Alabama. He completed his medical school training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His internal medicine training was at Carraway and cardiology training was at Tulane in New Orleans. He practiced in New Orleans for several years before joining our group in 2005. He is board certified in cardiology. He sees patients at St. Vincent's Birmingham and three days a week at the clinic in Gardendale. Dr. Sims is board certified in cardiology and is expert in nuclear stress testing, echocardiography, diagnostic angiography and the management of congestive heart failure patients.
